Another loss for our legion family
It is with a profound sense of sadness that we must announce the passing of our comrade Allan Whorrall this past week. Allan was a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force having served in a wide range of technical and aircrew roles. Al was an avid participant in the Legion's day to day business and lately in the Buddy Check Coffee sessions here and in Finch.
Arrangements are currently being made with Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St., Cornwall, Ontario,K6J 3S2 and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to CHEO or the Shriner's Hospital in his name. Donations are being accepted for: CHEO Foundation HOPITAL SHRINERS POUR ENFANTS (QUEBEC) INC./ SHRINERS HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN (QUEBEC) INC.
